Youth

We're turning yet another page with the beginning of 2008.  Pastor Bill & Peggy Poole will be taking on a more supervisory roll as Lupe & Sofia Nunez become more active as leaders.

Our youth group has chosen a name for itself ("The Bridge", by which they would like to be affectionately known).  They chose this name because they perceive themselves as the bridge between the world and Jesus.  This concept will be reflected in the new mural being painted on the stage in the activity center.  We're looking forward to it's completion.

We've just finished our biggest fundraiser of the year (Charro Days), and our youth were right there on the front lines taking care of business via renting chairs & parking spaces, passing out tracts, and just plain witnessing to those who attended the three-day event.   Many thanks to all of the adults who came out to support our youth.
